I think Berto used the Haiti disaster as a cop out. He wasn't ready for Shane, hence the reason he has fought nobodies since he canceled his fight with Shane.

Berto is a joke and Pacquiao would absolutely destroy him. He is not fast enough and he does not deserve a shot against Pacquiao anyway.

He doesn't have the gut of a fighter like Katsidis or JMM. Either a fighter has it or he doesn't. He had the chance to redeem himself, since his Haiti situation is understandable, but instead chose weaker opposition instead of stepping it up.

One could convince themselves and say that Berto used that horrible random act of nature as an excuse to not fight Mosley, or one could use a more logical example and use the "Shane is too good" excuse that Pac gave so he wouldn't have to get in the ring with Mosley from 141-147lbs.

You do the math. One's a fictional story to assist ones agenda while the other is a fact.

Berto's only doing what's expected. It seems that who ever appears to be a true threat for Pac gets bashed quit a bit..... for anything...

Marquez, Berto & Mosley. These 3 are great fighters and each deserve the chance. But lets be realistic, he cant fight you all at one time. Lets just relax and wait who of the 3 Arum picks as Pacman's opponent. Any of the 3 would be good for boxing.

But If I have to choose:
Pacquiao Vs Marquez - (to silence the critics)
Berto Vs Collazo - to settle the score (the first fight could have gone either way) Or Berto vs Mosley - Unfinished Business.

If Berto and Pacquiao wins their fight, then unify the titles.

No way Pacman and his camp will think of fighting Berto after that one punched KO. Wether its 147 lbs. or 154 lbs. that 159 lbs. punched of berto, if lands right on the chin might even KO Margarito.

Exactly, in fact Berto has all the advantages coz it looks like he can weigh in at 160 more lbs. w/t the same speed, and offcourse that means more power. If a much slower but 165 lbs. Margarito can hurt Pacman in body shots how much more a faster punches with the same weight hits you in the face? so I think boxing fans should consider this factor. Remember, Pacman came in less 147 lbs. just to maintain his speed.
