yeah round 9 was all marquez he was landing at will. But he should of stopped when marquez was landing them uppercuts. Great win for marquez I think hes getting manny next

[QUOTE] why not? he's done if before...the only thing is the weight,i think 140 is too much for marquez..but marquez gave pac two tough fights, nobody can't deny that [QUOTE]

that was history just like how jmm was schooled by floyd at 144. i don't think it is wise for pac to go down @135 or 140 to fight jmm and 147 is too much for jmm as well.

Marquez is one of the best boxers/combination punchers of this generation. I'm laughing at all the *******s that said "Marquez is a fat old man past his prime." Well for a 37 year old man he looked better than ever. Against an inside fighter and he performed beautifully.

Great win for Marquez. No more excuses Pacquiao. Make the fight at 140. Everyone knows you can make 140. Stop ducking meng.

Also a big fight for Katsidis. He gave it his all, and that's what a fighter should do. I became a fan tonight.

great win for marquez no surprises there.
but thumbs up to katsidis for dropping marquez.
did anyone else get annoyed at watching katsidis throw his overhand right/hook???? he needs to go back to school and brush up on some solid technique. LOL.

jmm proved tonight he still got some fire in him... but he already showed us how 147 is for him.

this is hilarious... a LW & a MW is tugging at manny's shorts... boxing public need to decide where they want pac to go, up or down...

              honestly, i would pay for pac/marquez @ 144...
i would not pay for pac/shane @ any weight...

based off of most recent fight, jmm deserves/earned his shot at pac.

Well, out of everyone not named Mayweather (Mosley, Berto, winner of Alexander/Bradley and JMM), I think JMM made his case and point for the fight with Pacquiao. But the fight cannot be one pound over 140. The thing is, Pacquiao can make 140 easily (he had to eat 7000 calories a day to just make 144.6 against Margarito) and Marquez could come in around 138 and most likely still be effective. I think Pacquiao wins this time convincingly but I think JMM has earned the right for one more shot. After that performance, I wonder who can say differently...

I actually thought the stoppage was perfectly timed. The ref was watching Katsidis very close and saw that he had very little left. Go back and watch Katsidis moments before Bayless stepped in. Katsidis is as tough as they come, but he was going to get badly KO'd. He was way behind in the fight and guys just don't fight themselves out of a hole against JMM.

I like Katsidis and am sure he has a chance to dethrown
Marquez because he has skills and youth on his side but
I think his style might play into Marquez's hands. Marquez
is a very good counter puncher. Katsidis is open because
of his aggressive style. Should be a great fight.
