    1. he felt slow at 130. he had no legs.
    2. litzau had numerous illegal shots to the back of his head. he has some major swelling about 3 inches behind his left ear.
    3. his training ******. he was out of shape and his diet was poor. since he got to weigh more for the fight, it confused him mentally. he had a ****ty diet. he actually weighed 145 as he stepped in the ring. when he is forced to drop more weight, he trains a lot harder. his conditioning suffered.
    4. he underestimated litzau. i knew that he thought he would beat him easily, but i still thought he would treat him like it was juanma standing across from him. i was wrong.
    5. he relaxed too much before the fight. he brought in friends and family and i think lost focus.
    6. he was gassed by the 3rd round and only threw 446 punches in the fight. if you are aware of his past fights, you know this is not normal for him.

like i said, not excuses. these are reasons. and things he needs to correct for his next fight.

he is going back to panama for a month and then will be back. his next fight will be at 126.no more 130. he would like a rematch w/ litzau, but not at 130, so obviously it wont happen. although a couple of us floated the idea he could take the fight at 130 and just show up 127-128.

it was a close fight. i gave the nod to caballero, and the compubox stats clearly favored caballero. but i dont think it was highway robbery. litzau was smart enough to steal the rounds in the final seconds.

i am not going to get into a flame war with anyone, so fire away, but i wont respond in kind.
All I got out of that was if you don't train like a pro don't expect to get those fights its that simple, aside from the fact that he has AT BEST average skill. BTW you also forgot to mention than Litzau was about 5 inches taller than anyone Caba has ever faced before as well. Take away the reach and we see what Caba has to offer, which is lack of discipline and when times get rough he looks for an easy way it, he's a b*tch not a boxer.

The ELITE fighters train for every fight like its their last, win or lose this guy simply didn't deserve the fight.
exactly, caba thought running his mouth was gonna get him a big fight but that only works on the non stop boxing forum

I know Caba is gonna be **** on for this one but Litzau really isn't that bad. I think instead of knocking Caba from pillar to post, we should really reevaluate Litzau and Robert Guerrero.

I, as well as other people here, have said it a thousand times:

Caballero lacks basic fundamental boxing skills. Is not well coordinated. Throws wide punches. Has balance issues.

            His defense is also weak.

He looks good against guys who are intimidated by his height / reach.

              Here, against Parra.

              Same lack of skills.

Some people here overestimate him based on his boastful BS and taunting.

CABALLERO IS NOT A MATCH FOR JUANMA LOPEZ. JUANMA SHOULD KNOCK HIM OUT.

to be honest i thought that litzau wasnt going to be able to keep his focus and get pulled into a gun fight and get caught.

i was surprised to see him stay with the plan and keep his head on right. although there were a couple of times early where it looked like he was gassed and was pushing shots but then he would pull sharp shots, so it was a make you guess where he was at type fight. he obviously prepared.

cab wasn't focused and thought that he'd walk through litzau's shots, big oversight in his eyes. cab's normal intensity wasn't there and he couldn't get himself into that mind set. litzau was doing a lot of things in there that had caballero complaining about the littlest infraction, he was showing his frustrations and looking to the ref a lot, more than i'd like my fighter to do if i was his trainer.

anywho, i was totally surprised at litzau's discipline to get the win, good for him.

I've always thought of Caballero as an overrated fighter, so nothing surprising about the outcome of the fight except that the judges actually had Litzau winning. It was close fight but the right man won.
