Carl is the ****. He has been pretty great in his last 2 fights.
I honestly believed he was going to get KOd before the fight. But he was great, tactically perfect. Kept AA at the end of his jab, and each time AA tried to shift his feet and get inside, he was savvy to it and ducked, moved away or smothered.
His power is good too, otherwise AA would have started swinging like he did against Dirrell.
I'm scared to favour Ward against him now, even though in my head I see a complete schooling
Btw, yeah, he ****-talks alot. Brilliantly.
I will never be a great fan of his style but I just love the guy and what he represents.Comment

Soon, The Cobra will Sting you into falling in love with his style, too (it owns Haye's).
I have a thread planned for later that I'd like you to put your 2 cents in. :-)
Basically, that Carl is the most meaningful fighter from these isles since Benn, Eubank, Naz.
JC's claim will be dismissed. Be there.Comment

Carl did it a lot better than Dirrell, that's the truth. He was assured ring-general in there, not some over-vaunted speedster looking for a way out by the Championship stretch.
And KD or not, he hurt Abraham way more, too.Comment

That pretty green belt is back where it belongs.
Strapped around the waist of The Cobra.
Kessler didn't win that fight (QUELOQUE made a very savvy post on this a few hours ago).Comment

The problem with Dirrell is he kept flailing everywhere and was off balance but got the job done the majority of the rounds.
Froch showed generalship in the ring and didn't look afraid as Dirrell.Comment

Yeah man, I'll be there later, I'm gonna hit the sack now; been up all night due to the 90 minute midnight nap which turned into a 4 hour sleepAwesome, you've finally almost come all the way around.

100% Aree mate. I never knew Car had that in him, best ive seen him box and ive watched the vast majority of his fights. His War with Kessler (The Dane DID deserve the nod) seems to have taken nothing from him, he looked better than ever. Kessler? I doubt he will be quite the sameComment
