will the big uk tv companys back froch now?

surely sky, espn, bbc, itv SOMEBODY has to give froch the exposure he deserves....the fact that the best british boxer cant get on mainstream tv and has to fight on a crappy ppv channel nobody has heard of is a disgrace especially when david haye gets huge exposure on sky and fights bums like audley harrison...

He'll be tied to a deal with Primetime until at least the end of the Super Six. After that, if he wins or gets to the final and gives Ward a good fight, I'd imagine Sky would probably be interested.

Remember, ITV did show a lot of Froch's fights live, including his win against Pascal and then they showed his fight with Jermain Taylor on a delayed coverage the day after which was a Sunday afternoon where it would be seen my a wider audience. I guess viewing figures compared to the likes of Khan who they were also showing just weren't warranting the money they'd have to pay to show his Super Six fights. One of the reasons they wouldn't show the JT fight live is because they didn't think that many people would stay up to see Froch at 4am in the states, given that he wasn't really popular.

They only got Amir Khan v Paulie M which was in the states, purely 'cause Amir is the biggest name in British boxing and he was ITV's prize fighter, they basically gave him the platform and the national exposure to be the star he is, ever since he won silver in 2004 they got him on ITV on Saturday nights and made him a household name.

Froch on the other hand never had the star quality or the hype until the Super Six. Sky wouldn't pay the amount Froch's team and Showtime wanted for the JT fight either although they did make an offer, as did Setanta. None of the them valued Froch at the amount Team Froch/Showtime did. It's just business.

very true look how he got Amir a title shot after being knocked out by a one dimensional ****er

he also kept getting Calzaghe big fights in the UK so he wouldn't have to fly to America to fight guys like Johnson who incidently Froch is fighting next

LOL. Did you just seriously ask that question? Bro, he's English and white ------------------------------------> NEVER.

England is the most vile, beaten down country morally-speaking I have ever visited. I have visited Holland, Norway, France, Italy, Greece and Germany and all those countries combined cannot compete with England in terms of undisputed self hatred. Listen when I tell you; WHITE Englishmen LOATH OTHER WHITE ENGLISHMEN! It's the damndest thing I've ever witnessed. Since I have not even a speck of English blood, and seeing as how Anglos pretty much at one point in history were unbeatable in war, I find this new reality humorous. They are the most politically correct bunch on the face of the earth, and that is a fact. Especially--ESPECIALLY when it comes to backing white-English sportsmen. Joe Calzaghe had more English support than Froch does now or will ever have. Why? He's Italian-Welsh.

Bro, you can walk around London and see gorgeous, 'fit' English birds ( Englishman's slang) walking hand-in-hand with bucktooth Pakistanis or obese Africans before you would an English bloke. Dude, I had more female attention in England than I did in Italy, Germany, Norway, Holland, France COMBINED. They are just a people who love other cultures more than their own. They are the poster children for multiculturalism. And there isn't a damn thing wrong with that. But get what I'm saying. I think I explained exactly why Froch will never have the level of support Lewis had or Kahn has.

That's some "real talk" fo' yo' ass
