Yeah, this happens all the time. It's natural for a fighter to gain fans all in one fight though. For me, the Kessler fight sealed the deal as far as being a fan of Froch.

Yeah, people give him shit saying he lost the fight against Dirrel but who was it that got his nose bloodied? It wasn't like Froch didn't land any effective punches in that fight like people claim. Dirrel didn't come to fight and he came to steal a cheap win except for maybe a couple rounds and that's not how you beat a champion. Froch deserved to win that fight.
