I love Carl Froch, but Calzaghe is still his daddy.

..all the way. Once Carl holds a World Title for a decade I might put him in the same league. Joe also didn't need any Nottingham judges to win his fights.

Once again, all the props to Carl for his career-best win, but Calzaghe > Froch

At least Carl Froch leaves the comfort of his country and seeks to fight the best....unlike that cokehead Calslappy who finally decided to step out of his safe little comfort zone and fight a few senior citizens before he retired....

calslappy overated as hell, kessler and lacy wins does not make him an atg in any shape or form, and barely beating bhop doesnt do it either, neither does beating an old past it jones jr or an old past it eubank.

and he only stayed at home and did not travel to fight the best like froch has been doing.

Bernard Hopkins has never fought outside of the USA. Neither did Roy Jones until he faced Danny Green last year.

So is Froch greater than Hopkins and Jones? Really?

@ everyone mentioning Calzaghe now that Froch is having a better career to try and dampen Frochs wins/resume.

Lets be clear, Calzaghe is the far better boxer, but Froch can achieve more by the opponents and weights he fights at. He is contemplating moving up to 175 after the Super 6 is over.

If he can beat Johnson and the face Ward in the final, thats a huge achievement. He dared to go out there and fight the best, something Calzaghe never did.

Oh yeah, its easy to hold a belt for 10 years when you fight medicore opposition and never challenge yourself. Calzaghe was a great boxer, but a coward.. scared of losing his precious '0'. Thats why he never took any risks in boxing.
