    Roy was shot to shreds.

Taylor was prime and still plenty good.

Don't play that triangulation BS, desperado.

Get real if you think Froch has a better resume, maybe if he wins a few more big fights but not right now.

Taylor was prime? coming off the back of two losses, one of which included a brutal KO? What was a prime Taylor anyway? He was having trouble with Spinks, Ouma and Wright before those Pavlik fights anyway!

And we all know now that Pavlik aint ****.

Not just yet, but it's getting closer. And just for the purity of his streak, Carl is more impressive and is doing more for the sport than Joe ever did.

        LOOOOOL @ 'nutgagger',

Lol at you putting Calzaghe's Eubank win over Froch's AA win. We both know Eubank was shot to ****.

Joe's ability is sometimes ignored because of his resume. I don't say Joe C beats Froch based on who has the better resume or any common opponent. I say Joe C beats Froch because he is so much more skilled than Froch and could outbox him rather easily. Froch has looked poor against actual boxers (Dirrell who really looked a cut above when he realised Froch wasn't hurting him and he stopped runiing and Taylor who was running away with the fight and boxing Froch's head off until he got tired)....the problems Dirrell and Taylor suffered from in those fights would not apply to Joe, he didn't run away, he didn't have stamina issues and he's very active he wouldn't let rounds slip away to Froch.

Calzaghe v Froch = Calzaghe v Lacy....or Froch v Abraham if you will.

I ain't a Joe nuthugger. He doesn't have Carl's heart or balls, and I respect Carl for fighting the fights he has...Joe wouldn't have fought JT across the pond, he wouldn't have gone to Finland or Denmark. If he took more risks he'd have been regarded so much more highly than he is, but he made his bed and now he had to lie in it. Without question though, he was very talented in the ring and it would take a prime RJJ or someone of that ilk to have beaten Joe.

He was 31 years old, never had been KOed and coming off close decision losses to Steve Collins who is regarded as a top SMW.

Shot to ****? I think not.

Ok, if you can triangulate that Roy beat Jeff more impressively than Jermain, then Jermain beat Hopkins more impressively than Joe and Hopkins just bullied Roy.

See? I can do it better.

There are styles involved, dummy. Your triangulation theory is BS.

Yes, Taylor was prime. He showed it against Froch with a very nice boxing performance and arguably a rematch win over Pavlik before that. One brutal KO loss does not necessarily kill your prime dead. Follow boxing, you clown.

He wasn't shot to ****...but you overrate that win, nevertheless. The supposedly (according to you) shot Taylor who Carl beat wouldn't have lost to that old, drained version of Eubank.
