Abraham couldn't do more than what he did. I never realized how long it takes for him to get off but every jab from Froch, right hand or whatever froze him up and didn't allow him to put anything together.

Not only that but I think Abe has stamina issues, which is why he doesn't have a higher output.

Nahhhhh. It's what Abraham does, he waits for openings then bursts out of the shell - he was trying all along, but the raw strength and the volume of the barrages Carl unloaded stopped Abraham from taking advantage of him letting his hands go. Against Dirrell it was speed of movement that denied AA opportunities outright, in this fight Carl threw too much and too hard when he let his hands go. It wasn't even in such an instance when AA hurt Froch, IIRC, although I'd have to watch the fight again.


I knew AA would stay in there and rock Carl late, said it before the fight that he'd be dangerous to the last. That's one thing I was 100% certain of in this fight, and why I had him to hurt and stop Carl eventually. Carl boxed a near-perfect prizefight, something I honestly didn't think would play out

Froch put on a fantastic performance.. they guy is extremely awkward and used his longer reach to perfection. I wouldn't say the jab won him this fight but it was one of the main reasons.. It just goes to show.. people were laughing at Froch saying he could never do what Dirrel did.. well imo Froch looked far better vs AA.. they didn't fight exactly the same but it was fairly similar.

Saying that i was still scared that AA would leap in and catch Froch.. he did late but it looked like Froch recovered fairly well. Is it me or did AA look the same size as Froch height wise? in the build up he looked far smaller.

Frochs stamina, mix of different punches and jab were fantastic today and can someone give me a top 10 p4p list without him on it??? i don't think so

Who is making excuses? I'm just saying he didn't not let his hands go at all because he might have had a better chance to win. Even you know that. In the 12th, he came out swinging and actually had Froch hurt but too late.

The only reason he even landed in the 12th was because Froch was in cruise control. Froch was alert from then on and Abraham could do nothing.
