For the same reason he 'lied' about the Margarito fight taking place in Abu Dhabi and the Clottey fight being at a catchweight... he has absolutely no clue what happens in negotiations and he's just Arum's babysitter for Manny in the Philippines. They call him an 'advisor' but no one in team Pac seems to know what he does and they all seem to dislike him. The man is not at all involved in negotiations as he's proven in the past on numerous occasions.

All that doesn't matter though since Manny himself and Roach have been on record several times that they agreed to everything... and no one from Floyd's side who was involved in negotiations has contradicted that or indicated that was the reason Floyd went on vacation.

Reality is the moment Team Pac announced that they were agreeing to the 14 days cut-off, the whole world turned their eyes on Lil Floyd. Everyone especially in the US media was calling him a fraud and a coward.
