I agree, his awkwardness gives him some advantages and he threw a variety of punches and combos that I didn't expect. It seems like fighting the best fighters paid off, he really improved his game. Compare this to his fight against Pascal for example. His jab is so much better now, he must be included in the top 10 p4p.

Some nice touches of elusiveness throughout, too. Made Abe miss a bit when they did get in Abraham's ideal range.


I honestly feared for Carl in this, because is really dangerous to the end (as he showed in the 12th), and I was surprised at Carl controlling range that well.

Ahhhh, most personally satisfying night of boxing for me in a while.
