Comments Thread For: Marquez's Trainer: Berto is not on Pacquiao's level, Juan is

Later tonight Juan Manuel Marquez will defend his WBA and WBO lightweight titles against rugged brawler Michael Katsidis at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The contest marks Marquez’s 58th fight as he is in the midst of his 18th year as a professional. Along the way he has awed us with his deadly efficiency and thrilled us with his penchant for action.

The second fight was close, the first too, but with 3 knockdown and a Marquez broken mouth, Pacquiao was the clear winner.

If Marquez want the 3th fight, he has to leave Golgen Boy like Mosley, because Aurum won`t a deal with them soon. And don`t expect to fight below 147 and have split 50/50. Pac dictate the terms. Take it or leave it. Pac has lot of options, Marquez has only one.

not anymore ...that was 4 years ago things have changed PAC has improved so much in hes movement/countering/lead punches and patience and can throw hes right hand as hard as hes left cross no more is he a one handed fighter when Juan fought him years back and for juan hes not strong enough in these weights to hurt PAC specially anything over 135 the weight difference is too much for a fighter at hes fastest and for a fighters slowest juan should move on thinking he just won that fight cuz PAC has moved on too haggler did it so can juan...

and going back to hes options he can fight KHAN,Timmy or aven a guy like maidana and feel what is like to b a real 140lb fighter...IMHO itll b a stugle just keeping the weight on him for 12 rounds trying to move around when u r a natural 125lb

JMM and Beristain know if they turn down a Pacquiao fight and don't abide by his ball game, then Shane Mosley or Andre Berto will accept it. Don't like it. But it is what it is. Pacquiao should either fight the Bradley-Alexander winner or Martinez.

the winner will most likely b Timmy and that will b agreat match up both can make weight easy...and please forget about Serg he can make anything below 154 and PAC cant even make 147... common sense
