How in the hell is Johnson overrated?

He is overrated, just like most tough guys in the sport. Johnson gets a lot of love by boxing fans because he goes out there and tries his best. Just like Gatti and other scrappy type guys, they are beloved and hyped up like they are one of the best out there. I'm not saying he is a bum by any means but he isn't skillful enough to beat the very best. Special fighters in the sport excel in certain things in the ring and Johnson doesn't. He is good at everything but not great at anything and it's one of the major reasons he has 15 losses.

I thought he beat Tarver when they first fought and I can't for the life of me understand why a lot of people had Johnson losing that fight. He earned that win.

I agree with you except for the thing I've noticed with Ward is he is always thinking one step ahead of his opponent. He always has a plan A, B and maybe C or D

Skillwise there is indeed nothing exceptional about him. I don't know who thinks he's unbeatable but they definitely don't know what they are talking about.

He also should have won the Branco, Sheika and Gonzales fights IMHO. And don't forget the first Dawson fight where he had him in danger for half the fight

once again, poster bias blinds his analytical skills!. htf would a bull like cloud knock out a fighter as versatile as ward? that makes no sense unless ur banking on a punchers chance? and if thats the case then everyone would predict the same shyt every fight.
