Should Marquez Be Concerned About Pacquiao

He got a fight with Katsidis tomorrow but is uncharacteristicly engaging in all this Pacquiao banter. Though I wanted to see a third fight it should not be at the expense of his focus on Katsidis. JMM is literally already agreeing to the ridiculous weigh limit! How many times are these fighters going to let Pacquiao pull them to their worse weight? Why are Mexican fighters so desperate to do anything Pac says?

Freddie Roach is a genius at mind games, all this crap they are throwing around about wanting a third fight with Marquez is all a bunch of crap! They are just trying to get JMM to lose focus against Katsidis so he can lose and then they can just say that he lost his shot against Pac...

I do believe they'd be happy to see him lose but it wouldn't matter, they specialize in fighting the loser.

He is concerned with him or else he would fight him at 135-140lbs. max.

I can see Pac beating JMM at 140 but it would be a life and death struggle, Pac doesn't want anymore tough fights. He wants easy opponents that don't require any puzzle solving or strategy adjustments.

Yea everyone says he is the people's champ but in the end him and his team are doing what's best for Pac. I can't hate because in the end easy money is easy money but I'm tired of the **** riding and as a boxing fan I would like to see the best fight the best with no extra stipulations

True it is generally not good to be looking past someone so much but Pacquiao is his whole motivation at this point I reckon if he didn't have that kind of inspiration (to get him in the ring again) he would fall off more quickly than he currently is.

Didn't Floyd come in overweight when he fought Marquez?

After the 1st 3 rounds, Katsidis should be all bloodied and cut up. After that, Marquez is gonna pick him apart. It's still gonna be a tough fight, but Marquez got this.
