I think Pacquiao, deep down inside, is afraid of Marquez because he's the only fighter who has given him tough fights in his career and he doesn't want this fight. LOL, he already dismissed this fight even before negotiations. Arum would probably give him a list of opponents and he'd immediately cross Marquez out IMHO.

I don't think 147 would be a big deal anyway. Marquez can come in 140 and Pacquiao usually comes in 144 anyways and not the full weight and people shouldn't even criticize Marquez if he does that because there's no such rule as coming in underweight.

Marquez is a tough hombre and I think he could fight better with that weight.

But honestly, I see the same outcome. Marquez getting dropped giving the edge to the pacman. But the question is, did Pacquiao really improve since the last fight? If he did, Marquez will either be dominated or KO.

Roach also has another good tape to look at, Mayweather vs Marquez, so that's another advantage.

I disagree. Pac team offered him $750K for a rematch after the first but he choosed $30K for John and lost. IMO, GBP and Marquez are just looking for the $$$$$

It's all about the money now...

Pac said no one would watch Pac vs Marquez. Do you honestly believe that?

And you're statement is quite confusing. JMM declined 750K before but in your opinion Marquez is looking for a payday that's why he wants the fight now?

Why is it okay for Manny to fight a fat, bloated, and past prime 37 year old at 147, but it's wrong for Floyd to do the same to JMM? You guys gave Floyd **** for doing the same thing to a younger JMM, but now it's okay for Manny to do the same to an older JMM. Why don't you say the same thing you said about Floyd to Manny?

We hate catch-weights in boxing even Roach disagrees with catch-weight fights. Why it is only okay for Poochiao to demand a catch-weight fight, but his opponent can't do the same thing? Manny came in at 144 against Margarita... that tells me he can still make 140 easily without killing himself. Arum, Poochiao, and Ariza have all said in the last year that Poochiao can make 135 for a big fight. So fighting the best Mexican fighter and the biggest Mexican star in the sport is not a big fight, but fighting Clottey is a big fight?

The fight should be at 135-137 or they should not waste their time training for the fight because Poochiao is not going to get any credit for beating a fat JMM.

I gave Floyd no credit for beating a fat JMM just like Manny won't get any credit for beating a fat JMM.
why is it that JMM not demanding OSDT?

I like all this hate on Manny right now it only makes the people want to watch this fight even more. This gonna make them believe that Marquez has a chance of winning against Manny at 140. Once they make the fight at 140lbs, team Pac can make drama in 24/7 that Manny is struggling to make weight and the distraction coming with it. While JMM's camp will be all so good. As Arum said it is easier to promote this fight than Andre Berto who is undefeated and is an AA fighter.

JMM also had success with come forward fighters but when matched up with a counter puncher he's exposed

                      Chris John, MAB, Floyd?
