I got a chance to finally watch the latest Fight Camp 360 (the power was down in my village after a pig chewed the lines). Mabuhay.

Andre Dirrell and his team are a bunch of liars. They never had any intent to fight Andre Ward. None.

We know there was never really a set date or venue. But to hear Team Dirrell making all these excuses ("we are prizefighters, not pridefighters", "the money isn't right", etc) really became transparent. What's more, Andre couldn't even look into the camera in good conscience.

So now, they are claiming that the doctor requires Dirrell to be symptom-free for three months. OK, Fine. But the symptoms are sleeplessness and dizziness. Symptoms that Andre can claim without anyone refuting them.

Andre couldn't even recall the doctor's name that he is seeing supposedly on a regular basis.

Interviewer: "when was the last time you experienced these symptoms?"
Dirrell: "um, uh, like, 3 days ago"

I doubt he's lying but if you watch andre dirrell you would know he's not his same self, he looked depressed,and just out of it ,maybe all the lack of sleep and stuff. He just looking like a worn man.

Nowhere in my post do I try to blame Ward, and I wouldn't want to as I like the guy. So i'll leave that one hanging.

Dirrell was violating his contract? We know he's violated it by not fighting. But this is after the back-and-forth between the parties which involved Showtime siding with Ward. You're turning the order of events upside down.

I'm quite sure every fighter would have had to fight away from home at least once, otherwise the whole tournament would never have worked. I can only assume it must therefore have been provided for in their contracts.

If it wasn't provided for in Ward's, but in all the other's, then that is worrying and very strange. So I can only assume it was in Ward's.

So again, why didn't Showtime compel Ward? And in light of siding with him, what other concession did Dirrell have to make?

The situation is not as black and white as you and other posters on here are trying to make out.

Yup, Dirrell is a bitch. I supported him through his pathetic performance vs. Froch. I gave him the benefit of the doubt for his act vs. Abraham.

Then he turns around and does this. AND to top it off, he tries to drag Andre Ward down with him.
