The tragedy of Berto is he has got all the talent in the world as far as speed and pop, but he's in some horrifically ugly fights because his timing is so abysmal.

      Saul Alvarez: 36-0 (26 KOs)

      Andre Berto: 26-0 (20 KOs)

It appears to me that Berto is the one needing the experience judging by those records. This HBO conjob is a fabrication and him avoiding a fight with a guy that has 10 more fights than he does based on lack of experience is just outright comical, I see HBO has been helping him develop his skillset with witty comments loaded with subversive irony. Alvarez has as many kos as Berto does victories.....

The funny thing about boxrec is it doesn't tell you how many crappy fights Berto has been in, and it's a lot...

        LOL.

I know, people talk about the quality of Canelo's opponents but Berto's haven't been much better either. Berto has fought like 3 decent B+ boxers and struggled against 2 of them. Berto is just as inexperienced as Canelo is...................funny thing is, Berto thinks he's the bigtime dude because HBO pays him a mill to fight and only bring in like 7500-12000 fans, while Alvarez fills soccer stadiums with 60000-100000 fans.

Yeah I've seen video of Freddy Hernandez also

Canelo would mop the floor with Freddy Hernandez. Get out of here with that weak jive Berto.

Completely agree with you. Berto, I feel lost the fight to Collazo. The level of competition he has is trash. Berto is going to be the next Mayweather when it comes to ducking and dodging opponents rather then punches. He clearly ducked Selcuk Aydin, and is going to continue to duck Saul Alvarez. Berto will get out boxed, our brawled even by Saul. And will ultimately Luis via K.O

There's a lot of talk about a Pacquiao-Berto fight, but that doesn't impress me. I'd rather see Saul vs Pacquiao it would be more action packed. ( I am not mexican I am not riding saul right now, this is just how I feel)

lol............exactly dude is not a draw at all. HBO has put on so many of his fights it seems like he has a ton of fights but in reality, he doesn't.

Point taken, but that does not equate to top-level rounds and it does not give him the tools/experience that he could need against Berto.

I say give Canelo time for no other reason than, because you can.

                      He is not there yet.
