  • Felix Trinidad Vs. Jermaine Taylor?

How do you all think this fight would play out? Obviously taylor would not be able to fight the same way Hopkins did. He just doesnt fight that type of style. So I feel that if he ever fought Trinidad it would be more interesting.

So If they ever fought who do you think would come out on top???

I think it would be a really close fight. I'm not sure how much power Tito has left, but if Hopkins could stun Taylor in the late rounds, I'd have to think Tito could maybe knock him down.

This fight won't happen anytime soon though, and that favors Taylor, he is only going to get better and better, and Tito doesn't have too many fights (if any) left in him.

Tito has about 3 or 4 fights left in him if that any he probably won't challenge Taylor....

Tito's 1 diminsional ass would get his ass whipped. His power is suspect now. Plus Taylors jab would be in Tito's face so much it would be ridiculous. And late TKO, Taylors rights behind the left jab starts connecting.

Jermain Taylor knocks his skinny ass out in 2 rounds.

Tito is too small to fight a modern middleweight like Taylor. Taylor will more than likely be a light heavy or cruiser before his career is over. He could possibly wind up in the heavyweight division ala Holyfield.

Taylor by a comparable score to the Winky fight...

at first i said tito by KO, then i realized how perfect taylor's jab is.

thats all you need to destroy tito: a good jab.

I agree, which is why I hope that if Tito does come back, he won't fight at higher than 154.

I agree with this because, well, I said it.

In all reality, Tito is a great fighter, but like alot of smaller welterweight or even slightly smaller boxers, they just don't do well when they step up against a man that although he might weigh 160 lbs, he has the frame to carry over 200 lbs.

Jermain is 6'2" tall or damn close to it.

If we remember how easily Hopkins manhandled Tito, it's not tough to figure out what would happen to him against Taylor.

Hopkins was more of a chess player against Tito and waited a while to check mate.

Taylor is much more explosive and much more apt to take Tito out of the fight early with his physical strength and power.

I think it would server Tito, Delahoya and Mosley to stay under 147 lbs.

Oscar might be a bit too porky and lazy to do it anymore, but I think Tito could step down and win the crown quite easily.

I would like to see Tito vs. Floyd Mayweather. That would be a much more interesting fight IMOP.
