You need to come to terms with the truth, the Mayweathers have:
"[Floyd Jr] ain’t got to do all that. Quit! Leave the game alone! You already made your mark in the game. You showed people who you are. Everybody knows Mayweather. There ain’t nothing to tell. Everybody knows Pacquiao. Everybody knows Mayweather. They’re going to continue to know Mayweather. They’re going to remember Mayweather from the one who was scared of Pacquiao. That’s just alright. You know what? You ain’t going to be no further than him at the end of the day".
-Floyd Sr.
Admits his son is ducking Manny and is afraid of him, but that's just fine by him. You should take notes.

Martinez and Marquez both share the same thing, Perfect common sense. Lets just hope the 3rd negotiations go as smooth like the 1st one did where all that was up for debate was the testing in which we all know what happened :/, the 2nd Nogotiation was just a joke. May by 12 rd SD, it will be close and competetive, But Mayweathers boxing skill will pull him the win late fight.

Now we're resorting to name-calling?
Greenburg is the head of HBO Sports, is the most neutral party possible because he and his outfit would make a TON of money from the fight without caring about who won or lost, who got the bigger split, etc.
He has absolutely no reason to lie and alienate one of his cash cows. What's the sense in that?
Sense being a word you should probably look up before replying.

I wonder why that is? You may have touched on that in your previous post.
FACT: Arum lied, that is not even debatable.
There were dozens of articles quoting Bob Arum as publicly stating that he was either working on a proposal to present to GBP, or that he had presented it to GBP and was waiting for a response. I just quoted the one off the top.
But, maybe like me you were actually interested in that fight? So, you can probably remember that just as well as I can?
Who knows why those other guys are on here arguing now? Because, if they can't remember Bob Arum stating on numerous occasions that he was negotiating with GBP, then they can't have been that interested in the fight way back then
Although, I suspect that most of them know alright.
I also suspect that many of them didn't actually read my "spam" very carefully.
You know old.... "yesterday I was lying, today I am telling the truth" Arum?
Well, he actually did that.
The article in the first link is dated 16th July, where a "deadline" that Arum negotiated with GBP is about to expire..... and the article in the second link is dated 17th July, where Arum admits that he never even spoke with GBP.....
Aint he just a card? LMAO.
How could there possibly have been a genuine "negotiation" ?
Arum lied, and his conference call was less than 24-hours later !!
That is why 6 people, belonging to 3 completely different business organisations, each of those people having first-hand information - 4 of whom would be ABSOLUTELY CRITICAL to that fight being made - ALL, categorically stated that..... "there were no official negotiations" !!
BTW bro, a lot of people know what's going on. And, I bet that both Ellerbe and Schaefer have made sure that Greenburg is up to speed now.
Although, it is uncanny that a man in his position could find himself manipulated like that. Let's just assume that Greenburg knows a little more about the business of boxing than he did a few weeks ago, and leave it there. Otherwise, there will undoubtedly be "conspiracy theorist" accusations flying around the room
Then again, I assume that everybody here realises that Greenburg has just as much to gain from this as Arum? Neither HBO nor Top Rank have any control over Mayweather, and Manny is a money-making machine. Greenburg got "lucky", because now Manny can make him lots more money before he has to risk his marketability against Mayweather.
This is an interesting article, although mostly only the direct quote from Ellerbe can be rated as first-hand. Funny prediction though....

And it supports the Marley's revelations, after speaking with his contacts at Top Rank.....
