No the key to beating him is to put him on the back foot in the later rounds, Check out the Cotto fight in later part of the fight you will see what I mean...This I.M.O is the way to beat him....Even though its a tall order you have to try and provent him from popping in and out at his own choosing, And keep him on the back foot easyier said than done...This I believe is the reason why Mayweather will not take this fight, Because to put him on the back foot you must be prepared to take some real punishment... If Mayweather was to beat Pacco he would be the all time great in my book period

You forgot to mention that you have to have ELITE-level counterpunching/timing, a SOLID chin, elite-level defense, elite-level conditioning, elite-level training, elite-level.....ah, why continue.
Mayweather is the one person in the world who could beat Manny (@ 147)...and Manny's the one person in the world who can beat Floyd.
Anybody who doesn't see this fight at least close to 50/50 is a moron. ONE PUNCH changes everything. This isn't Pacquiao from 2004 or early 2008. He's a much better counterpuncher and has more head movement than before, while maintaining his explosiveness, foot speed, volume punching, and everything else that made him an international boxing superstar.
