Has Mayweather been past prime since his late 20's?[Read First]

Prime Mayweather was at 130 imo. Peak Mayweather was at 135-140. 2006-Present Mayweather is past prime imo.

The Mayweather you've been seeing since he came to 147, is actually not prime Mayweather. He's much slower in his feet, slower handspeed, and didn't even carry his power up with him.

Numbers don't lie..27 fights at 130 Super Featherweight, 27 wins, 21 KO's at Super Featherweight. Only has 25 total KO's now, meaning he only has 4 KO's above 130.

    What is a prime fighter?

First you have to know what the definition of prime is, then translate it in to boxing knowledge.

Prime is The age of ideal physical perfection and intellectual vigor. And The period or phase of ideal or peak condition.

Do you agree with me? 130 was prime Mayweather, 135-140 was peak Mayweather. We've been looking at a past prime Mayweather for 4 years now.

Remember, Mayweather has been boxing since he was a baby. He had lost in amateurs and went through wars as an amateur. He fought WBC champion Hernandez as a teenager, he already had his hand problems at 130.

So what do you guys think? When do you think Mayweather became past prime?

He has been past prime since 2007 imo, but he is still closer to prime than Pacqiao who looks much worse now than in 2008.

People are confusing physical peak with boxing peak

If manny had his current boxer abilities at 25, he would be better then he is now

But boxing peak peak wise, for manny i think it was Vs Cotto

What pac has gotten through all his boxing years, i wouldn't be surprised if he'll be worst than his trainer.

You are quite right with what you said. Pac even if he has evolved as a boxer now, his age and constant pummeling on his body is surely taking some toll. There's no exact prime really.

People who thinks so should get off their high horse and smell the horse ****s.
