what do you not understand that the margarito fight was a 1 time thing. Why didn't jones defend his HW belt?? why didn't floyd defend his MW belt which he won against De la hoya? Larry did u honestly expect pac to stay at MW?? he weighed 144 he didn't even make the WW limit.

It's a bad thing because, win or lose, Manny is not coming back from a fight like that.
So we as a fan have to decide, Martinez or Floyd... I'm in for either, but doubt we'll see both.

If these two fight, it has to be for the middleweight title (at 155 no doubt). You lose too much marketing value if you take away Pac's quest for another title at a higher weight.
