Okay okay. You guys sold me on it. Let's have Pacquiao/Martinez.

I didn't think this was a fair fight after Sergio's win Saturday. Martinez would have too many tools in addition to his size. But you know what? Pacquiao has devastated all his opponents since David Diaz. Maybe this is the challenge that will make for a close, exciting fight a la Pac/Marquez. Marquez would be KOd in a couple rounds by Pac at this point, but the Martinez fight would be perfect.

I mean, Manny is the 154 champion. Sergio held a 154 title until recently (does he still? or did the WBC have him vacate it?). Martinez claims he wants to be the p4p #1 and a superstar. Well, this is the fight to make the happen.

Manny gets **** for fighting used-up guys, losers, shot guys, ect. Outside of a fight with Floyd, this would be a victory you couldn't discredit (unless they fight below 154). He could shut up a lot of his critics if he could actually beat Martinez.

They both have something to gain from this match-up. It would also be a great fight for hardcore boxing heads.

I still say this is a fight Floyd shouldn't take. He's a full grown 147 pound fighter and belongs at 147. Manny does too, but Manny has always been a little crazier than Floyd when it comes to opponents.

**** it. I'm sold. Lets have this fight. I got Martinez by KO.

For this reason alone it should be considered. But Manny won't defend that title except for with Cotto and at a catchweight anyways. It's sad but it's the truth. The only way Martinez gets Manny is if he goes down to 150 AND still puts the 160 titles on the line

Indeed not a good fight for pac but i'm all for it too.
I might even retire posting on NSB once it's done, win or loss.

Manny is currently holding the very same belt Martinez was stripped off. This is why I think it's bull**** to argue that Manny shouldn't fight him.

why are we using pac's 154 title now? when him and margo were about to contest that title, everybody was ****ting on it. where's the consistency? does he really needs to defend a **** title that nobody recognize except the corrupt wcb?

if he defends the belt against a legit 154 fighter..it would legitimize the belt
