Hopkins is an idiot for saying that. He hasn't fought "slick black fighters" because the ones that were on top at the time when Pac' moved up in weight were Mexicans. Barrera, Morales, Marquez. At 140 he didn't fight Bradley or Devon 'cause Hatton was the #1 140 lbs'er at the time AND easily the biggest money fight. He's already been calling out "slick black fighter" Gayweather and even agreed to his ****** blood test. It's Floyd who's *****ing out. He's petrified of seeing his "0" go. last time i checked the p4p best and african american fighter floyd mayweather jr gave pac everything he wanted.the ring size,the gloves,the 10 million dollar weight stipulation and all floyd ask was for the test.that to me looks like pac ducked him.now floyd has been done for awhile pac come out and says anything.

Neither Berto or Bradley pose a real threat to Pacquiao. Without peoples claims that Pacquiao doesn't fight black fighters, I don't believe anyone would give either guy a chance, but I'm sure they'd claim afterwards Pacquiao doesn't fight enough japanese or Australian fighters.

Incorrect. Ledwaba, while not the lineal champ, was still regarded as the best 122 lb fighter in the world when Pac fought him (and on short notice, if I'm not mistaken). No cherry picking about it.

As far as Roach's comments - that he waited this long to say something makes them a little more ignorant considering he had to time to research his response.

I know he was speaking tongue-in-cheek, but Freddie's missing the point - there aren't an overabundance of Canadians for Hopkins to fight, even though he has beaten one (Vanderpool), and was calling out Bute before landing the Pascal fight. So that comment falls a bit flat.

As far the slap in the face over the Calzaghe fight - last I checked, wasn't Freddie in his corner thant night?
