None of this cherry pickin duckin sht.

We need a league like every other sport in which the #1 guy must ALWAYS fight the # 2 guy. No BS! And if he refuses... he can not ever box again until he gets the concept.

There must be a commission that enforces the best fighting the best. It's like the ****in best team in baseball playing the last time in the world series on PPV for $70!!!!!!! WTF!??

Boxing is the only sport that allows the so called best to fight old ass shot fighters while avoiding the prime threats in the division.

That's why UFC is so popular with fans. There's a huge event every couple of weeks, and the best USUALLY fight the best. It doesn't matter that they just recycle the same couple fighters. The fans just want huge fights.

I agree, though ****ty promoters with clout have a lot to do with why we don’t get fights we should have already seen.

The way it is structured now... it's like a damn soap opera. Since when are "fighters" allowed to be women and still have a fanbase?

Never in the history of boxing have we had such blatant "Duckery."

Completely agree. I think all boxing fans would agree with this along with one santioning body arranging and promoting all the fights but its come too far now.

I agree with this. boxing has become a joke. Fighters like Haye should not be allowed to "FIGHT" the likes of Harrison. The best should fight the best ,the cherry picking is out of hand.

I thought a tourney like the Super Six would eliminate the problem, but Dirrell still managed to do it somehow.

You see, nowadays it's a lot different in boxing. Even though both are combat sports, in the UFC a huge importance is not placed on the fighter's winning record. You win some, you lose some, and nobody cares. Heck, all of their champions have numerous losses, but they still get title fights. Today's boxers are so worried about their perfect records that they are scared of losing that 0. So they fight bums to pad the winning record and rarely take the risk. And we as fans could be partly to blame. How many times have I seen posters here telling that a given boxer should retire after a single loss, or that they are now shot, etc.

I've been thinking about this for a loooooong time. a bunch of discussions amongst me and my friends. it actually would be pretty simple if even a mid-sized promoter took heed.

who's up for putting this together tho? lol.
