Floyd likely isn't agreeing to 7 days because Manny initially refused Floyd's compromise offer of 14 days. Floyd went from 0 days to 14 days. Manny refused 14 days. Mosley accepted 0 days. After the Mosley fight Floyd decided not to compromise anymore, 0 days or nothing. Can you blame him after he already went from 0 to 14 days? WHy is it on floyd to now compromise again and offer 7 days?

It takes 2 to fight. Manny refused the fight by not accepting 14 day cutoff in January. Floyd can't make manny agree to his demands, even though he has agreed to all Manny's. Floyd can't make Manny accept an offer.

the fact that 14 days was ok in the first round of negotiations, means that anything under 14 days, say 7 days should be good enough and wifebeater should accept it.
