If he wants to be recognized as the LMW Champion then fight for it. The belt doesn't mean jack if he can't defeat the guys around the weight.

Leave it up to my boy Sergio to step up to the plate to get stuff done. That's what a champ does

Pacquaio isn't frowned on for not fighting middleweights. Pac is frowned on for fighting for and capturing cheap titles and calling it history. Pac is the WBC 154 champ. Martinez has a lineal claim to that very belt. Why not fight him if he's willing to come down to 154. He's meeting Pac in his division. Its not like he's asking Pac to come to middleweight. Plus, Margarito is taller and naturally bigger the Maravilla. So to say Pac is too small for Martinez when he wasn't to small for Margarito is a bit hypocritical. Maybe its not about Maravilla being too big. But, its about him being too good. And if that's the case, its ducking.

this^^^^^^^^^^....fighting Sergio will not only make his 154 title claim official but Sergio also threw his MW title in the pot as well....Manny has said he has no problem with fighting Sergio....IMO Sergio is too big....but I thought Oscar, Cotto and Clottey was as well....I say make it happen IF and ONLY if they can't make the Floyd-Manny fight

And Maravilla would go to sleep at 147.

Pac is the money man, Martinez needs to come down if he wants to earn millions

I think to those who wants PAC to fight Martinez or any big guys out there only want to see PAC to lose, thats all I can see, then if he loses all will say PAC is a bum, over rated, what else? oh well.

Hmmm, let's see, Sergio is on a roll with some pretty impression victories in his recent fights. You know what that means...he can't fight Pac.

Hey Sergio, try getting your ass whooped in your next fight and get knocked out. Then come back and look mediocre in a comeback fight. Then you'll be a prime candidate to fight Pacquiao as long as you put up your title with a catch weight. And I'm not even trying to be funny.

Pac has too many options at 147 and he gets to call all the shots not sexy Sergio or DiBella who is a joke of a promoter.
Why are you so worried about who calls the shots??? Who Cares?? This is soooo annoying about people on here. This is an awesome fight at 154. Even if Pac looses competitively it ADDS to his legacy. I think Pac should still be #1 p4p even if he looses. This Losses CAN ADD TO YOUR LEGACY. Pac and Floyd's advisers need to learn that lesson.
