No, the current events surrounding Mayweather's life are sad/laughable, and the situation as a whole can't help but provoke jokes. Look if Mayweather wants to be a spectator like the rest of us, then that's his decision. History will remember victories and excitement, not failed negotiations. If only Mayweather worked a little harder in the ring, his fans wouldn't have to work so tirelessly outside of it. And that's the sad reality.

somebody said margarito's a shot fighter when he fought pac. that notion was already belied by Eaner, a known member of team marg. and it also showed in his performance...he lasted out for 12 rounds and still coming forward in a one-sided beatdown. had he gassed out in just the 3rd round then it's safe to say he's a shot fighter.

No I never said he's ducking him. My vote was with Ellerbe, b/c I'm not completely convinced of what's going on. Since stylistically Mayweather should be able to completely handle Pacquiao, I'm not clear on why the fight isn't happening. Hence the thread in the first place. If I thought he was a duck I would have said he's a duck. But I don't Mayweather would duck someone he thinks he can beat.
