Why is Chavez so heavily dogged on by fans? He admitted to have been lazy and decided to change his lifestyle and training habits by moving with Roach. He wants to grow and mature step by step, there's no need to rush him. He will be forced to fight world-class competition next year. If he loses then there's a reason to criticize but up until now, it's not warranted. Who is there for Cotto to fight?? Unlikely rematch with Pacquiao, Margarito, or Mosley? Or a fight with Mayweather or Martinez? Cotto-Chavez is an interesting fight and if Chavez can make the weight fair this time, then it's good in my book.
