    Khan-Marquez Was A Mismatch But Pac-Marquez 3 Isn't?

As you guys may remember, Khan was interested in the Marquez fight before the Maidana fight was signed. The fight didn't happen because of disagreement over the money. Everyone on this forum was crapping on Khan for wanting to fight Marquez instead of a legit 140 pounder. Nothing has changed since then. Marquez still hasn't done jack at 140 or 147.

So let me get this straight.............Khan-Marquez was supposed to be a mismatch, but Pac-Marquez 3 (which in all likelihood will be at 147) is a good fight according to some people? I thought Marquez had no business above 135? So how does a guy that doesn't have any business above 135 all of a sudden become a legitimate challenger for the #1 P4P fighter at 140 or 147?

Both of those fights would be a mis-match, who said they weren't?

Nobody thought Khan-JMM was a mismatch they just thought it was bull**** that after fighting Dmitri Salita Khan wanted to fight a guy who wasn't even a 140lb'er in place of his mandatory.

Pac/JMM 3 just makes more sense due to their history, which consisted of 2 very disputable decisions. Roach says they want to finally finish their unfinished business with JMM by beating him clearly this time.

Now, if Pac/JMM 3 happens at any weight above 140lbs, it's complete BS.

I wish they can fight at 137 or something.

Marquez versus Pacquiao at 147 IS a mismatch. JMM is almost finished. Manny will make quick work of him.

Co-sign it was more about Khan not fighting Maidana and not about an actual mismatch.

khan/jmm isn't a mismatch. khan's glass jaw make it an intriguing fight.

pac/jmm at 147 lbs is a mismatch. however, if jmm can show he is effective above 135 lbs by beating khan/bradley/devon, then pac/jmm is viable only if pac comes down to 140 lbs.

Knowing Team Pacquiao they'll make Marquez go up to 147 it'd be a mismatch. If the fight was at 140 or 137 it'd be a completely different fight. Pacquiao won't fight Marquez again. They're busy getting another gimmie fight with Mosley.
