Comments Thread For: Schaefer: Marquez Could Face Guerrero if No Pacquiao

Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer would love to finalize a third bout with between Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez. If he can't get the deal done, Schaefer would consider matching Marquez with southpaw former featherweight and super featherweight champion Robert Guerrero (28-1-1, 18 KOs), or former three-time world champion, Erik Morales (50-6, 35 KOs).

I'm gonna buy some stock in Boxingscene. This is the National Enquirer of all boxing media outlets.

            I really like this idea.

I think JMM stops him late as Robert seems not to be focused in the late rounds based on his last 2 fights.

There's a huge difference between Escobedo and Marquez.

It might not bring a lot of money, but it's pleasing to know that if Marquez can't get the best money fight he is ready to face the best contenders in his division. That's something not many champions do.
