And, my answer to this title, is neither was a letdown. And for anybody to think that either fight was a letdown is complete idiot.

    Now carry on.

Anything over 1 mill is very good but two non-American fighting in the US making over 1 mill PPV is very impressive.

Tell me about it, I saw a bunch of his fights before last week's and he looked great- fast, aggressive, technically sound. Just crushed guys with massive body shots.

Then he pulled a Floyd in the ring in his first championship fight. But we can get him a 24/7 and a stack of fake $100 bills and a twitter/U-Stream/facebook and he'll be the most exciting fighter in the sport.

i agree and i've said that both were successful numbers but apparently one poster here failed to grasp the 'based on predictions' clause.

So now is the entire post and not the thread title?

Anyways, still the answer is neither. Whatever the promoters said it doesn't take away that both events did over a million. How can any PPV that does over a million can be called a letdown? Especially this 2 events.

Please just carry on or let this thread die down cuz you're making a fool of yourself.

so you replied earlier based on half the title and not the post? lol now that's what a fool probably would do.

did i say the ppvs were not successful? read again. do you need some help interpreting the context of the whole post?

floyd's were more disappointing, probably b/c schaffer hyped the bout up to do something like 3 million buys....lol.

i didn't think pacquiao-margarito would come close to 1 million, so these aren't the numbers pacquiao fans hoped for, but i think this fight was a success.
