now marquez is a bigger star than margarito?didn't pacquiao just say he didn't want to fight marquez because no one would watch it?

very good numbers considering both are foreign, one doesn't speak english and the other only speaks 50% english. AND the fact that margarito was coming off a suspension and a lot of people weren't going to support this fight.

this to me is just as or more impressive than the mayweather-mosley numbers

            Not bad...They're great numbers!
Especially when two months ago, people were stating it would sell less than Pac vs clottey!!!

Those are some encouraging numbers for boxing as a Floyd fan.

also good to see Pascal vs Hopkins, near sell out too.

Hopefully fans will tune into a lot of this weekend's great fights.

I vote more 24 / 7, P. Williams vs Martinez definitely should have got one. Martinez would be a bigger star this week then he is now.

                  Truth in numbers

FLOYD had 1.0 million with him and MARQUEZ, and 1.4 with him in MOSLEY.. so 1.15 is not bad for PAC vs MARGARITO.. since MARGARITO is not as famous as MOSLEY or FLOYD.

All the different nationalities that live in America people can't claim this non-american ****. You can't have it both ways Manny is a star and that is great for Manny. Just because it didn't do what Arum and Manny fans predicted don't throw that non-american **** out there that is b!tchassness!!

1.1 mill is a very good number no matter who did it.
lets see how mayweather/mosley would do in japan in comparison to two of japans top two fighters fighting each other...YOU MORON, ITS COMMON SENSE.

its the same in any sports...basketball for example...you get two international basketball team playing in the U.S..then you compare the number of people watching those two international team vs the numbers that watch team usa vs another team usa...what game would garnish more american viewers in the u.s? DUHHHHHH....

and do you realize that black af-am outnumbers filipinos in population in the u.s, hello...if the filipino population in the u.s. was the same as the black af-am population, every pac PPV numbers would outsell mayweathers PPV numbers...so common sense.

if you want to know who really is the PPV KING,, they should have a PPV ordering system the same way they have for AMERICAS BEST DANCE CREW...where the person ordering/buying the PPV FIGHT (aka PAC VS MAYWEATHER) press #1 for PAC or press #2 for MAYWEATHER...thats the only way to get a true PPV KING

and by the way, YES BOXING IS WORLDWIDE, but you still dont have any clue that althought boxing is worldwide, the PPV numbers are based off of the U.S. market only, and not worldwide numbers...so in essense, the PPV numbers are based off of homers
