Froch, like him or hate him, is tough as hell. Abraham doesn't seem to like it to the body at all (his trunks are really high and he complains to the ref everytime he is hit with clean body shots).

I think that Froch's superior mental and physical toughness, which have carried him through fights with Pascal, Taylor, Dirrell and Kessler will come into play and he might actually out-man Abraham and make him quit.

That is of course if he doesn't get flattened, cause his defense is horrible
Man good analysis. I do know if Abraham starts slow (again) he's going to lose. He better start the fight ready to fight. That's one thing he really messed up on vs. Dirrel was starting the fight about 6 or 7 rounds in.

He needs to come out ****ing.

Froch is gonna get knocked out. He has a decent jab, but he is too slow and his defense is too crappy to keep Abraham from landing some bombs.

Abraham fought Miranda with a broken jaw. I think he can handle getting hit to the body. Dirrell gave him problems because of his speed and footwork, which Froch lacks. Bottom line is Froch brawls, and no one in his weight range will outbrawl Abraham.

Indeed, if Abraham comes out putting a lot of pressure on Froch I think we might see Edison Miranda Vs Abraham II just in later rounds.

Froch has underrated skills. He's ackward and has an excellent jab. His strategy is probably obvious: Move around jab from a distance and hooks to the body. Froch also has an uppercut that can be lethal and looks like a potential gamewinning punch for Froch given AA's high guard.

On the other hand Frochs problem is his defense. If he hasn't worked on it, it could prove costly. AA can hurt you at any point in the fight.

AA needs to back Froch's up and work the body. We saw in the Kessler-fight that Froch isn't as effective when fighting off the back foot. AA also needs to start work a lot sooner than usual. Otherwise he might be to far behind on points as was the case against Dirrell.

Froch goating AA by impersonating his style:

                Gotta love the cobra.

                  that's too much unnecessary info

their styles of fighting tell much more about how the fight will play out than these body measures

That will depend on whether AA can have his trunks high and claim low blows which arent low. Its in a neutral venue so hopefully there wont be a problem there.

tbh i can see Froch breaking his fist on AA elbows attempting to uppercut through that guard.

I dont think AA will start of slow this time, he'll fight rd1 the same as usual, but fight from rd 2 onwards. Im sure he's learnt his lesson, and he knows Froch is tough, so it may go to the cards.

Its gonna be a war thats for sure. Cant wait for it. Hope im proved wrong and Froch wins - not only cos i prefer him to AA (didnt before it the tourny started but i do now), but also for the sake of the tourny. What happens if Froch gets KTFO out and retires? He's through to the semi final even is he loses, so thats just gonna **** the tourny up even more.
