Pascal is no longer an up and comer. He was an up and comer vs Froch. He has since beat Diacanu twice and Dawson. This is prime Pascal you're looking at.

yeah, and everyoe said bhop was cherry picking by fighting pascal, but hopkins is a smart guy knowing where the money is, and it was in pascal with available opponents, because he knew pascal can sell tickets in his country.

if it was dawson, they would be offering a two for one offer to get the seats filled. nothing against dawson but verno phillips has a bigger following than chad. hopkins new this a long time ago and new that would be a deciding factor among many in hopkins old age and the twilight of his career. besides a style match up which would be too tactical for the average boxing fan, casual fans can't handle craft when it comes to sounds boxing technicality........

there is a methond to hopkins madness, he has a nose for money and money making opportunities.

Pascal is on the verge of being a huge star. How many 27 year old american fighters man sell out a 16k+ areana? Boxing needs young stars like Pascal. He has an exciting fight style and the looks and carrisma to be a big star.
