ENOUGH. Pacquiao and Floyd are welterweights, Martinez is a middleweight.

Everyone who says these two are ducking the middleweight champion, who himself understands that the two are not his size, is a f***ing moron and just needs to shut up. If they want to make the fight, all the power to them and I'll be excited. But they deserve no criticism if they don't.
Agree completely... no more catchweights. Pac and Floyd need to fight, that's it.

        If you want accurate,Martinez is a lightmiddleweight(he weighed 157,can make 155,154)

        Floyd a WW.

        Manny a lightWW.

Floyd is only a division smaller!!!

If he was still at 154, there would be more reason behind Pac or Floyd fighting Sergio, but Sergio apparently can't/won't make 154 anymore. So we are talking about a middleweight here.

martinez vs. either are fantasy fights.

if one could move up to challenge martinez, it would be wifebeater because he is taller and bigger. pac can make 144 lbs easy, but wifebeater can't make 144 lbs anymore.

saying that either is ducking martinez is a sign of ******ation.

Floyd will not be fighting for a while. It has been said on Boxing News that Floyd has "way to much on his plate right now." Because Floyd is in this mess with the law, apparently he will be putting his efforts into straightening that out before training for a fight. He believes that it is a slap in the face to the judges if he starts training for a fight while trying to resolve his issues. Even though I hate Floyd, it is understandable his reasoning about not setting up a fight with anyone.. But we'll have to wait and see what happens.

Good post TS. Martinez needs to fight middleweights. Welterweights need to fight welterweights.

Focusing on weight is part of the training for all boxers.

Having too eat so much to put on more weight than is natural could also be a distraction to training?

But, the catchweights issue is a legitimate criticism of Pac's wins.
