True boxing fans/purists root for and appreciate Mayweather!

People defending Floyd are fans of real boxing, no Human growth hormone, no steroids, no P.E.D ****tails, no magical new-found chins &stamina after 4o something fights, no vacant titles, no made-up "Ring Belts", no fighting guys coming off losses & getting credit like you're beating Roy Jones in his prime, no catch-weight fights for titles, no re-hydration clauses....just hard work & dedication to your lifelong craft!

I like seeing fights actually happen, guess I'm not a true boxing fan. That's OK, what sort of grown man wants the title of "fan" anyway?

BTW didn't he put off fighting Mosley until he was 40? How's that so different (considering Floyds top 3 p4p ranking) than some B-opposition like Green fighting a past it RJJ? Almost every fighter takes fights like that if not every single one.

As opposed to the "grown men" on here who try so hard to get all green reputation so they will be seen as cool by their jerkoff online boxing scene friends. These same jerkoffs who give people red as if it matters or they give a ****. Im at this site for the love of boxing, unlike you PAcroid nuthuggers. The difference between a Floyd fan and a Pacroid groupie is that the Floyd fan has a respect for the sport of boxing. A true fan of the sport would demand only the highest standards in integrity and fairness. OST with no cutoffs. I find it quite su****ious and intellectual dishonest that Pacroid fans would not throw their support behind something which could be the first big step towards something that could help clean the sport up. Hmmmm.

Mosley was 38 when he fought Mayweather, and he was P4P Number 3 as well as the consensus Number One Welterweight in the World. Your comparisons are absolutely weak, I can tell you haven't been following boxing for a long time.

Some of you guys come off real idiotic here.

floyd used to have dominating and entertaining fights at 130 lbs and 135 but now his fights are just dominating and you get the sense that he is not doing his best and is just doing enough to win rounds

thats why people dont enjoy his fights ever since he moved up to 147 lbs

thats why even though he is great; people do not appreciate him because he is not giving boxing fan his best when he steps into the ring and floyd is just content on winning and risking nothing to entertain the fans

so say what you will about the random blood test dodger (pac) but he fights and gives people their monies worth. whether you like him or not (im not a fan of pac) he delivers excitement

If you say you are a "true boxing fan" then why the hell are you putting down another fighter. Whether its slick fighters, counter punches, or just plain attackers, then you should appreciate them all.

What this man said. Of course the haters will find some "smart" gifs and pics to post in reply hoping it makes us look bad but it doesn't. Floyd's the best fighter of this generation hands down. And they could crown Manny the queen of Earth, it wouldn't change a goddamn thing.

You have a point. Manny is a great fighter too and has great accomplishments. To say he's leagues above Floyd it's nonsense. And imo Floyd's done it in a much more convincing way because of what the TS said.
