Pacquiao never made bantamweight. He was stuck with a title in the lower divisions to defend and drained himself completely to make weight a couple fights too many. Mayweather would have lost a lot more in the amateurs had he kept himself at that weight at the same age Pacquiao was.

Pacquiao became flyweight champion in December 1998. Johnson's last flyweight fight was in September 1998 before he had to move up in weight. Pacquiao was stuck with the title (a lineal one at that for beating Sasakul) for the next year until he couldn't make weight anymore and skipped super flyweight and bantamweight altogether after he didn't make weight and lost to Singsurat.

The Same Tim Austin that got destroyed by 16-7 Erik Aiken yeah Im sure he was on Pacs level after also getting clobbered in 8 rounds against Rafael Marquez.


Junior ***ing jones hasn't had a fight since 2002 when Pac and roach were Barely training together. Pac wasn't even with top rank yet for *** sake.

Kevin kelly had already been knocked into ***ing oblivion by Hamed in 97 and Morales in 2000 by the time Pac started fighting in the Featherweight division in 2003.

Speaking of Marquez Mark Johnson was getting beat by Rafael marquez as a Bantam weight twice in a row when manny was barely even training with Roach in 2002 so yeah just drudging up any old black fighter isn't gonna cut it here.

The truth is a lot of these fights didn't happen not because Pac was ducking anyone but because when these actual fighters were worth a *** Pac had no ***ing promoter.
