Juarez was screwed.
They were all over Soto's **** on HBO before the fight even began, for no obvious reason. I guess Juarez pissed off the wrong people, either at HBO, or with his promoter, or both. Then they called the entire fight like Soto was the named fighter. What the ****? They could've tried being a little less obvious that they were going to **** Juarez out of it.
Juarez OBVIOUSLY won that fight. Yeah Soto did way better than he should have against Juarez, but Juarez was so much more accurate the whole night. It should've been like 10-2 or 9-3 for Juarez.
Now everyone climb aboard the Soto train, and get ready for it to derail.
This is my theory, the only one that makes sense to me...
Arum wanted to turn JMM into a big name at 126. He knew there was little chance of JMM defeating Juarez, so he paid off HBO to **** over Juarez regardless of Juarez's opponent. Then they'd feed the opponent to JMM so JMM could actually win and be the so-called champ at 126.
Oh well, if Joan Guzman really is about to show up, him or Juarez one will have to eventually fight JMM and knock the **** out of him.Comment

That is the ******est **** I have ever seen anyone post. Juarez was lucky to have won 2 or 3 rounds tops, and only recieved points that were taken away from Soto. Juarez got his ass handed to him.
Soto threw more, and landed more.
So you score fights based solely on accuracy? That means Holyfield won the first fight with Lewis right?

You're crazy MasterDirector. HBO liked Juarez clearly in the fight. THey called out all of his shots that landed in virtually every round. The judges, and HBO, were looking for a reason to say he won. THe scorecards were entirely too close, even with with point deductions on Soto. If it weren't for the point deductions, it would have been a a slaughter on the scorecards.Comment

Im sorry but did you watch the same fight cause it seems to me that you are confusing fights, remember that night there was two fights Vargas-Castillejo I think this is the one that you are talking about. And I no way in hell can Juarez beat JMM come on Juarez is no where near the level of this JMM, so are you sure you are not confusing fights?Originally posted by masterdirectorJuarez was screwed.
