Joe C.,then Pacman & Floyd are evenly second!!The reason I hold those 3 that high is because the rest have fallen to greater fighters but these 3 are boxing's finest cherrypickers!!

Floyd is obviously front & center but that's because he plays the bad guy & people actually dislike him, period!!But then comes Pacman & everyone thinks he's an angel, but if u take an unbiased look at his championship run over 140,U can't miss everything that stands out!!

Now if JC fought a prime Roy,or B-Hop,he would have 2 losses IMO!!

Wifebeater because he's been living on the name Floyd Mayweather Jr for a long time now without any end product of what made him that.

I voted Hopkins. Most of his "best" wins are over smaller opponents. He tends to lose when faced with skilled opponents his own size

i vote hamed cuz i dont think hes legendary, but taking him out of that list i'll say RJJ. heres my breakdown of the ones i think are over rated

                  2) rjj - relied to much on his athleticism. kept his hands low, didnt jab, backed str8 up.
                  3) wifebeater - hasnt fought good enough competition to warrant legendary status. hatton, hernandez and chico were prime but shane and oscar were not. JMM is not a WW. zab just sucks.
                  5) hamed - who thinks he's legendary?!?
                  7) tyson - came up during a weak era, then went to jail when lewis, bowe, moorer, mercer, morrison and holy were around.

Well, considering the average American still thinks Tyson is the HW champion, there's my answer

Something about how ridiculous that guy acted + his physique just fascinated people, showed that the mainstream sees boxing as less of a sport or art and more of 2 savages giving each other brain damage

Second choice would be Jones, because every time you talk about him he seems to be immune to the examination a normal boxer would receive and people just wanna talk about how he knocked "someone" out with 1 hand behind his back, etc etc

I didn't voice Floyd because quite frankly I've never heard anyone call him "legendary" in my life

I'm surprised how few people are voting Tyson and how many are voting Calz/May

Overrated doesn't mean who you hate the most

It means highest rated, most popular etc, relative to actual skill and accomplishments

You have to go to war to get most Americans to even admit Joe was a legitimate champion, how is that overrated? Generally speaking he's not even on the map.

Floyd's only a legend in his own mind and not really that well known. Most people I talk to seem to know him best as the faceless guy opposite of Pacquaio.

He's extremely unlikable but his overratedness doesn't even approach the stratospheric levels of Tyson, who simply looked good because of his compact physique, fought mostly clowns, and is still to this day one of the most, if not the most, famous faces in boxing, because of how he talked and biting someones ear off.
