Hopkins is a racist douche. Pac hasn't been avoiding African-American fighters. He's been avoiding fighters who have a style that greatly contrasts to his. He avoids fighters that are counter punchers and mostly defensive minded. Why do you think he doesn't want to fight Marquez again?

Let's see, how do I write this without sounding frustrated? Name one single fighter that you as an expert think Pacman should have fought while at 126, 130, 135, 140 and 147?
There was none! In terms of money and belts and recognition. The only one who mattered was Zaheer Rahim and he blew his chance by getting embarrassed by Acelino Freitas.
Using the same silly logic we can say the same about Floyd. When he moved to 140Ibs, all his opponents ceased to be black conveniently. In 2005 it was Gatti and Sharmba Mitchell (who was really a stepping stone towards Judah).

It's funny how easily this guy is getting bashed for putting on "balls out" performances against fighters that FMJ avoided. Is he the most technically sound? No. Is he slick? It's not as if Hopkins jumped at the chance to prove how great he was by fighting Chad Dawson. Look at Hopkins career arc. He had wars with a ton of mid tier middleweights that pumped up his record. He beat a blown up Tito Trinidad, an older DLH who had hit the ceiling in weight divisions and decisioned a slow ass Kelly Pavlik who came up in weight. He also never came close to fighting RJJr in that rematch everyone wanted, citing money issues. He's even more of a cherry picker than he claims Pacquiao has been. He knows he's at the end of his road and he's just trying to make noise in that last gasp.

Appreciate Pacquiao for what he is; an all out action fighter with the balls to take way more risks in the ring than Hopkins ever did. Right now he deserves the P4P ranking, because he's done it in the ring respectfully without beating women and being a racist prick along the way.
