I like pacquiao I think he's an amazing fighter and top 5 ATG but you can argue about him being legit. He's been matched up very well for quite awhile now. In all honesty I hate mayweather and I like pacquiao but I think mayweather would beat pac if they would fight.

Myweather would win 8-4 rounds, due to his speed, ability, and very very much longer reach.
how can this be held against pacquiao? they have tried to make the mayweather fight 2 or 3 times. mayweather won't even give them a negotiating representative this time around. this is ******ed.

this article is dumb. yea - pac hasn't fought a slick african american - but the only relevant slick african american left is floyd. and floyd has yet to take the fight. write the article saying FLOYD TAKE THE DAMN FIGHT instead of PAC YOUR LEGACY WON'T BE LEGIT. kind of like blaming the klitschkos for not fighting haye or something - its getting to be very similar.

what a coincidence!!!! i was just telling my friend the other day that Mayweather could never be considered the best pount for pound fighter because he never encountered the street fighting style of a Filipino... funny... very funny.... haha....

Funny. Bernard's idea of a slick black includes Shane Mosely, his good friend.
And you want Manny to fight a guy who weig\herd 175 lbs one month before weighing in at middleweight on Saturday....a weight where he's now fought three time now.

Why not Floyd fighting Martinez. Hell, he fought ODLH at 154 three years ago and had never fought below welter since. Should be an easy fight for him. Of course, e has one small problem. One of the 'laundry list of foes he has beaten
''was his baby mama. So the next judge to judge him will be in court, not the ring.

One last thing: Floyd has only fought four black men in eight years. The rest are Latino. Why, because that is who reighns in the lower weight divisions where the Mayweather's fight.

His most reknowned victories are Corrales, Castillo, Hatton and de la Hoya. Very Slick

WTF?! I assumed Cotto knew how to box...I mean he outboxed Margarito for a majority of their fight, and he outboxed a "slick african american" fighter in Mosley, but since Pac beat Cotto now Cotto was flat-footed?!?! I guess.

I'm getting so sick of Hopkins' Racist rants..

Why don't Benard " ALL BLACK " Hopkins have a good crap...

Time & time again he gets away with murder???

Making these racist remarks when if indeed the tables were turn and it was a White fighter making similar remarks..this whole goddamn so-called politically correct world would have the white guy assassinated in the public eye..

Ya know what? Bernard is actin' like an "N" word..

And the "N"word to me doesn't mean color..it simply just means IGNORANT !!

P.S Maybe should let Hopkins know that Manny called out the so-called most gifted Black fighter today but is too much of a PU**Y to fight 'em??

Floyd sits down to pee, if ya get my drift...

Shut up for Christ sake Bernard before Lucien Bute & Sergio Martinez shuts it for you !! Oh..by the way, those guy's are not Black

The only two slick African Americans boxer I can think of that Manny can fight is Floyd Mayweather and Devon Alexander. We all know what's going on with Mayweather and Alexander has some buisness to attend to with Tim Bradley, who is also African American but fights more like a Mexican rather than like a "slick African American boxer".

So who is Pacquiao supposed to fight and who has he ducked to earn the distinction of ducking African American fighters?

Lyle Fitszimmons is a garbage writer. I really wish boxingscene will removes him from this site. I hate when I click a link and I find out it is one of his article.

um, who was/were the top fighter 135 and below at that time? mexicans/puerto ricans/asians/ugandans...NO SLICK AFR AME.

who was/were the top fighter at 140? hatton was the lineal

was alexander and bradley even in the radar when hatton was the lineal champ at 140

then at welterweight, who were the TOP 5 welterweights?
                      cotto, clottey, mosley,berto...
pac fought two top 5 welterweights, clottey and cotto...cotto had a belt that pac won from him...why fight cotto and not mosley? well, cotto beat mosley head to head....if pac fought mosley, then the question wouldve been, why not fight cotto since cotto beat mosley

*****s would have a case if mosley had beaten cotto and pac fought cotto, but you cant argue that pac fought the head to head winner between cotto/mosley...

as for berto? he wasnt even established like cotto and clottey...and both clottey, cotto, and even margarito have beaten slick afr-amer in their careers...so what makes anti-pac peeps think pac cant do the same being that pac have beaten badly cotto, clottey, and margarito, whom all have beaten slick afr-amer boxers

also, if you look at every weight division, the majority of the top fighters of every weight division are mexicans/puerto ricans/asians (moreso in the lighter weights)/ugandans/and europeans...
