paul williams is a prime example of

paul is a prime example of a fighter believing his own hype.he is the 1st guy to call out the midgets of 147,and claim they wont fight him,yet he didnt want to give martinez a rematch.he made not 1 single adjustment from the 1st fight and came in there treating sergio like he was quintana.at 147 he can walk through most punches so he could care less about defense.im pretty sure we have seen the last of him at 154.he gets way to much respect for being "willing to fight anybody".i hope everybody is off this fools hype train.now we know why he wouldnt fight anybody with a pulse at 54-60

The media does that to people, not only boxers but a lot of athletes. After someone tells you something for so long or you hear it, eventually you start to believe it. He was good but always overrated and yeah he didn't make no adjustments. When you get to a certain level in the sport, you have to use your brain more and make adjustments. A lot of fighters are that way, get away with something for so long until someone catches on. I knew martinez would knock him out but not that soon. Martinez is a very good fighter but he can be beat by a good counter puncher with speed and uses their brain. FLOYD MAYWEATHER! The media is gonna hype martinez now.

A lot of fighters in boxing today are hype jobs. The only difference is Paul fought someone with pulse. These other hype jobs usually don't.

there were much better challenges to be had at 154 and 160 then verno phillips, winky wright and poole or whatever that dudes name was.paul will fight anybody with a pulse at 147 cause he assumes he will go through they're punches

ive always said williams will get ko'd by the 1st decent guy he fights with a punch and he didnt let me down.he cant fight at 154+ the same as he would at 147.

floyd is a classic example of somebody who doesnt beleive his own hype.he takes evry fight seriously and makes adjustments.paul williams thought he was gonna give sergio the quintana treatment but got a suprise.that couldve easily been avoided if he fought behind his jab and kept trying to land that uppercut
