Pacquiao and his people were saying that size didn't matter, so y not make the the fight with Martinez at 160 for the MW title? Let Sergio come in at 160 and Pacquiao can come in at 147 for all I care...

Answer: Cuz Arum and Roach know that Martinez is not like Margarito and Pacquiao would probably would suffer the same fate at Williams under these circumstances....

Pacquaio would be fighting a man the same size as Margarito. The difference is purely skill level. Martinez is much more skilled than Margarito and would put up a very good fight if anything makes up for the 155 c/w it's the skill level of Sergio that evens the fight out.

Martinez is 35 years old, he's grown into a legitimate MW, if I remember right he was walking at around 175 before the Williams fight , so draining himself to make 155 would probably get rid of his speed, power, and movement.

Sergio just came out of the 154 division, he fought Cintron in 2009 at that weight and was 152½ for the fight before Cintron in 2008.

A catchweight is out of the question, why would Martinez want to do a catchweight? He is the champ at 160, if Pacquiao wants it, he shouldn't demand a catchweight, the only way I see Sergio coming down is if he challenges Pacquiao for the 154 trinket...

Asking Pacquiao to move up to MW might be too much anyways, so I don't think it will happen, and if it doesn't Pacquiao shouldn't be seen like he ducked Martinez...
it would be absurd to call somebody in the lower and smaller weight ducking someone at the higher weight division especially one who is naturally bigger, but what can you expect from *****s they will sure call it that because *****s are absurdity by themselves.

Yea that was Feb. 2009 almost two years ago, he has outgrown JMW, even if he could make it to 155 why would he?? he is the champ, Pacquiao would b challenging him for his title , Martinez shouldn't have to give concessions to a challenger no matter who this one might b

Exactly what I'm saying, no one should blame Pacquiao for not fighting Martinez

I think that is the best fight if Floyd doesn't come through. It sure isn't a cake walk.

Hell, I'll even give Floyd a pass on this one, it's not like he is a big welter
