When he talks to his children, wife, and friends, does he say "you know what I'm saying" every other sentence, or does he only say it when speaking in public in front of crowds?
Is "u know what I'm saying" just a nervous tick, or does Paul always talk like that?

It might be one of the few things he can remember off of the top of his head, this is not a scholarly individual but a man who gets punched in the head for a living and seems to love his job............maybe just not this past Saturday though. -

It's a psychological way to buy time...
It's the same way when ditsy white girls use the word "like" after each work they spew out..
They use it to think while they speak..also similar to the excessive use of "um"
It's poor social skills really..nothing elseComment

Yeah, I have no problem with this. I'd probably look like mumbling fool if I had to speak in public. I'd be worst than Williams. It's one thing if it's a tick with public speaking, but it's another thing if that's how you talk normally in front of people you're comfortable with. So I'm wondering if there's any non-rehearsed footage of him talking without falling back on "you know what I'm saying".Comment

he does this because ppl in general dont realize that it is actually ok and intelligent to take breaks when u are speaking. when u dont and u try to fill it with something else, u usually look kinda silly.Comment
