Martinez needs to stay at 160

He shouldn't move down to fight Pacquiao at 154, it's just not healthy for him at this stage. Martinez is 35 already, and dropping more weight is just going to drain the **** out of him. Pacquiao will beat Martinez at 154, because he'll be gasping for a air like a fish in a bucket come the later rounds. Martinez should forget Floyd & Pacquiao, these guys aren't needed, there are plenty of fights at 160 he can make.

They need to stay in their divisions for now. People are just jumping into the Pacqiuao-Martinez train as soon as their two fights just finished. Give it a rest.

Exactly... I think most fans are getting sick of catch weights or fighters being drained. It's diluting boxing. As for Martinez... if Pac or May want that belt (which I doubt - they should fight each other) they should fight at 160.

I just cant stress enough that Martinez needs to stay put. He should forget this catchweight bull****, he'll literally get ****d by Pacquiao at 154. A healthy Martinez would beat Pacquiao, that's not at 154. I hope Martinez knows what he's doing because he may just ruin his reputation if he fights Pacquiao at 154, he will not only lose but get beaten badly as it's just not natural for him to be coming down weight.

There are not plenty of fights at 160 that make the 35 year old vet very much money. A rematch with Pavlik would make him a few million, maybe a fight with Felix Sturm might net him a few million (it would probably have to be across the pond)...what else makes the old man any money at 160?

Im tired of the catchweight stuff like everyone else but the money is either at 168 with Bute, or the winner of the Super Six OR Manny and Floyd.

I would totally agree with you if Sergio was 27.
