Yea, Paul Williams was fighting the perfect fight (Year Right)...

That's why Martinez left hand was landing throughout the first round and then the sweetly timed overhand left put PWill in lala land.

I think the 2 judges gave Pwill the first round as well I'm not sure.

They both landed punches in the first round. It was close and wasn't a one sided round. Although I got the feeling that Martinez punches were going to do more damage after that first round.

Shut the F U fool. They were trying to rob Martinez and you know it. Martinez was landing good shots and the HBO crews were cheering for Martinez.

Crazy! How on earth can anyone score round one to Williams when Sergio landed that overhand eft flus several times :S

I'm just glad the better man was vindicated at the end of the day.

Nah, it's not just you, I feel the same. Fortunately, Martinez didn't leave it in the hands of the judges

Martinez definitely landed the crisper punches, and in case you didn't notice, Lederman gave the round to Martinez.

Manny Steward just doesn't like Martinez IMO.

In the 1st fight, he kept saying Williams would stop Martinez if he could make it to later rounds because he has that "street toughness" about him.

Kellerman has always been a Williams nuthugger.

2 of the 3 judges gave Williams the first round too, the fix was in.

That's how I feel most of the time when I watch HBO broadcasts.

Also, they gave the scores of the judges from the 1st round? Was this on the replay?

I remember seeing Lederman's card, he gave it to Martinez.
