Real boxing fans will say Manny but casual and people that don't follow the sport(the masses) will remember Floyd being the greater fighter. Not only does Floyd have a chance to go 50-0, but they can also see Manny has lost fights and also suffered a major historic knockout loss as well. People may not like it but Mayweather will certainly be widely considered the better of the two.

Its clear Floyd will be remembered as a greater defensive fighter, as would Pernel Whitaker and Willie Pep.

But greatest fighter and greatest defensive fighter is two different things. Pac will go down as the greater fighter because he simply is. He gave just everybody the chance to beat him, and he didn't go AWOL like FLoyd, when everyone was calling FLoyd out, when FLoyd became p4p no1.
