Same thing goes for Cotto. So even though ur answer might be right, (but its too close in my eyes) your reasoning is off base
Not only Did Floyd dragged Marquez to his weight division but also weight cheated him to ensure his victory.

Typical Floyd stan omitting some important facts to suit their own floydiot agenda. You forgot to mention Pac already fought Marquez at 126 and 130 nor he weight cheated him at higher weight. It was Marquez obsession to beat Pac so he chased Pac all the way to 147 and hired the best PED maker on the planet.

Rios is a threat for Manny while a risk for Floyd would be considered Andre Ward or GGG that greatness difference. Basketball terms if Melo gets out of the 1st rd thats great it's a accomplishment but if Lebron doesn't win a ring it's a failure. People expect more out of Lebron than Melo the same way people standard for Floyd is higher than Manny but yet people have the nerve call manny greater;most of the posters here are keyboard warrior idiots.
you must be kidding....greatness is not defined by expectations.....

          greatness is defined by achievements....

the titles and awards pac under his belt are not obtained by being the "good guy" or having a standard that favors him over pbf's...

using melo and lebron as examples is misplaced....melo and james are team players...

in boxing its one fighter vs another...

You obviously misintrepreted my responses. I'm not (or have never) based Floyd being a greater fighter than Manny Pacqiao on the JMM fight[s].

That was just one example. Period.

I base Floyd being better than Manny Pacquiao for a number of reasons. Here are a few:

            1. Skill level. Floyd's technical boxing abilities are on a much higher level than Manny Pacquiao's abilities. Floyd's defense is superior; his ring generalship is better and he fights smarter and more efficiently than Manny.

            2. Both fighters have fought a similar level of competition, yet Floyd has consistently outperformed Pacquiao.

            3. Dominance: Again, both fighters have been in with elite level competition, yet Floyd is the one that's undefeated, and has only been tested once or twice. Manny on the other hand has been knocked out and beaten up over the course of his career on a few different occassions.

That's basically it in a nutshell. Floyd is the better fighter and has proven it.

Greatness is in the eye of the beholder....

I believe manny has been better for the sport taking on bigger challenges and always fighting the best..
But floyd is a better fighter... And would beat him
