Very true. I think Sergio eventually will move to 168, but right now there's no reason. Let the Super Six finish, let Sergio get a couple defenses, and then we'll see where we are.

Because he's too small. You want Ward to follow into Hopkins footsteps of beating smaller guys, don't you?

He weighed in 157.5. 154 and 157 are completely different. Knowing you don't have the luxury to make a mistake is tough. If he fights at 154, he can go no more, only less than 154 and that will weight drain him.

He shouldn't have to, but it is what it is. You really think any of those guys are going to be chasing him?

It's shitty politics, but that's how the ball rolls.

champs are asked to take catchweight fights and superfights and stuff so instantly after becoming champion that we never have a clear picture of any division

id love to see him fight at 168 my current fav division or see a 168 drop down but id rather see him make defenses against up and coming 160s

of course money is always the thing so he probably ends up fighting cotto at 156 or something... zzzzz

he should move up weights just to prove he can hang around with Pac and Floyd. im not really sure how good sergio is right now but if his fans consider him really good boxer i dont see any reason why not moving up weights fighting bigger guys or losing weights to make a fight with Pac or Floyd. staying in a middleweight with out big fights wouldnt make him great.

                    He's not big enough, he's a natural 154 fighter.

What do you think of him? Somewhat similar to Pac, who takes ease in moving up weights?
There is a difference between an ATG and an average fighter(great).
